BLOC PARTY REUNITE FOR NEW ALBUM

After disappearing from our musical sights back in 2009, Bloc Party has announced they are recording new material together.
In the last two years, most of the band members have concentrated on solo projects. Kele Okereke released his solo album, The Boxer, while bassist Russell Lissack has been playing as a touring guitarist for Ash.
"Kele and I started working on Bloc Party stuff," Lissack recently told NME. "We're having a bit of a break until the festivals are over, because people have commitments during the summer, but we're going to get back properly in September and sit in a rehearsal studio to work on new band material."
Although drummer Matt Tong wrote on his Facebook account that the band will "most likely not" play any concerts in 2011, there are plans to make a new record this year.
